The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) reported that the semiconductor market size in September 2023 was $44.8 billion, showing a 1.9% increase from the previous month. While it experienced a 4.5% decrease compared to the same month in the previous year, the rate of decline has been diminishing each month.
John Neuffer, President and CEO of SIA, expressed that “the long-term outlook for demand remains strong.” He emphasized that semiconductors will play a crucial role in powering a wide range of products essential to the world while fostering innovative technologies for the future.
