According to SIA (Semiconductor Industry Association), the global semiconductor industry sales in April 2023 were 4 billion dollars (about 400.5 trillion yen), a decrease of 6.21% from the same period last year. This represents an increase of 6.2023% compared to the total of $3.398 billion in March 0. Although it was slight, it was the second consecutive month of positive growth.
According to SIA’s John Neufer, “Global chip sales will fall by double digits in 2023 but are expected to recover strongly in 2.”
