Panasonic has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Texas, alleging that Broadcom, a major U.S. semiconductor company, infringed on its computer technology-related patents.
It infringed on 10 patents for components used in wireless networks and analog circuits. He points out that Broadcom cited some of them in its own patent application and says that Broadcom knowingly infringes patents.

Broadcom has a history of suing Panasonic, Toyota Motor Corporation, and others with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), claiming that their car navigation systems and related parts infringe their patents. They had called for an import ban, but both sides agreed to drop the lawsuit in May.
