MCNEX, a South Korean manufacturer of electronic components, has announced its full-scale entry into the next-generation mobility market by establishing MCNEX India Private Limited in the Sri City Industrial Park in Andhra Pradesh, India.
This site is not just a manufacturing facility, but a strategic production and development base centered on advanced electrical technologies such as ADAS and automotive semiconductor SiP.
- Approximately 25 billion won (approximately 2.75 billion yen) will be invested over 3~4 years on a site of approximately 52,892 square meters
- Aiming to start full-scale mass production in Q1 2027
- On-site development and production of core technologies such as ADAS, electrical components for autonomous driving, BMS, and automotive SiP

The background to this announcement is a changing environment as India has grown to become the world’s third-largest automotive market and is rapidly shrinking its distance from global OEMs.
In particular, the Three City Industrial Park is a strategic area where the manufacturing bases of global automakers such as Hyundai, BMW, Ford, and Stellantis are concentrated, giving MCNEX a geographical advantage to directly build a supply network.
In addition, the company aims to reduce procurement risks and improve production efficiency by strengthening the international division of labor with its Vietnam base.
This move will also lead to the establishment of supply channels in India → Europe in anticipation of expanding business with European OEMs.
